CIRCLES OF LIFE

Circles of Life is a community-based project inspired by the Mexican tradition, Día de Muertos.

The goal of this project is to create a community ofrenda honoring loved ones who have passed away.

Ofrenda honoring loved ones

The celebration of culture, food, and creativity, is centered around the creation of a community ofrenda for Día de Muertos. This UNESCO-recognized tradition blends ancient Mesoamerican rituals with European influences, such as All Souls' Day. At the heart of the observance is the ofrenda—a beautiful tribute, adorned with flowers, photographs, candles, and the favorite foods of loved ones who have passed.
